As Murray’s enters it’s 2nd decade, we have decided to take this Ale of celebration in a new & exciting direction. Using a combination of techniques & ingredients that give a nod to our rich brewing history, AA11 is a Belgian inspired Imperial Chocolate Porter than notes back to it’s English heritage, half ages in Tasmanian whiskey barrels for three months, then blended back before bottling. Flavours & complexity will change with up to 10 years cellaring.

Bottle from Slow Beer, Fitzroy, Melbourne and shared at Embargo, Phnom Penh. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, molasses, dark chocolate, red berry fruits. The flavour la liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, liqourice, charcoal, light boozy palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.
