Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Roasty aroma with cold coffee, some chocolate, coffee grounds, touch of caramel, ash. Medium roasty bitterness, light sweet. Medium body, bit thinnish for the aroma. Nice.

Fles gekocht bij de brouwerij, gedeelt met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur, chocolade achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, chocolade, koffie en pruimen.

A pretty typical and traditional English style stout. Lots of roasted malt, giving a bit of coffee. Pretty high on the carbonation. Quite thin, unfortunately, and lacking in flavour. Some bitterness, bit of sweet. Not tasting bad, just a bit weak.

Bottle at dad's. Dark red-brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, dark malts lightly, a bit earthy and lightly dry. Flavor is malts, dark malts, lightly dusty, a light note of dried fruit, dry, sweetish dark fruit. Decent body and carbonation. Quite ok.

Flesje gedronken tijdens feest. Diep donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma en smaak van karamel donker fruit en koffie. Nasmaak heeft veel koffie.
