If saison as a beer style is related to the farm, grisette is its counterpart in the mines. Fermented entirely in French oak, Lady in Grey owes her opacity to a high percentage of malted and flaked wheat. While her natural haze suggests sustenance, our grisette remains bright and refreshing, independent and alluring. Lady in Grey’s bohemian existence, her celebration of all things good, makes her a powerful muse of inspiration. We hope that you, too, will fall under this Lady’s influence.

750mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, a little oak, and gentle wild yeast. Flavour is quite tart, with lots of rustic saison yeast, gentle oak, and a bit of citric acetic character. Citric, oaky finish. Very good.

Straw colour, just a touch of haze, really nice brett and tartness on the nose. On the palate, really nice balance, with wood, brett. Complex, nice body, very drinkable. Quite fruity, a touch of bright fruits. Excellent.

Bottle shared at Peders (big thanks to Grant) - hazy yellow pour with a white head. Tart citrus fruity with some notes of lemon, some straw, light peppery spice, medium body and light acidity, touch of spice into the tart fruity close.
