If saison as a beer style is related to the farm, grisette is its counterpart in the mines. Fermented entirely in French oak, Lady in Grey owes her opacity to a high percentage of malted and flaked wheat. While her natural haze suggests sustenance, our grisette remains bright and refreshing, independent and alluring. Lady in Grey’s bohemian existence, her celebration of all things good, makes her a powerful muse of inspiration. We hope that you, too, will fall under this Lady’s influence.

750 mL bottle poured. Much thanks to Tcon for gifting this bottle! Always a treat to try brews from these guys. A bit of a dusty, cloudy golden pour, thin, active fizz. Aroma has plenty of tart citrus centered fruit, with an oak secondary. This isn't overwhelmingly tart, though I'd forgive it if it was. Plenty of oak character present in the flavor. Subtle grassy notes underneath a modest citrus tart. Smooth and refreshing saison here. Very nice.

Toranomon summer tasting, thank you Justin. Straw yellow pour, tart currants nose. Taste has more acidity, super intense, fruity tart and dry. Dry wild and quite clean in doing what it does. Refreshing and njce. Not really picking up that much earl grey but definitely refreshing!

Flat head, not carbonation, massive Brett nose. Low carbonbation some odd spices, light body, smodestly sour. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared by Levi/Yaniv, thanks! Pours a hazy light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has grass, oak, a bit of light tart fruit, flora and a bit of light grains. Flavor is full of dry grass and light tart fruits with oak and light grains underlying.

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017 - Green Session
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, funk, tartness and citrus. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a long slightly dry, tart, funky and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, courtesy of illidurit, many thanks! Pours clear yellow, big head. Aroma is hay, straw, saison funk, pig stables. Body is light and fresh, tart, but a bit thinner than oder SARAs. Yoghurt. Clearly a grisette still, and also still good, yet not as much as it is hyped.

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is plums, barrel funk, a touch Brausetablette. Taste is plums, dough, earthy, a touch earthy bitterness in the back. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very nicely balanced and super drinkable.

[Copenhagen 2017] Thanks! Sampled draft @ Barr. Surprised about this being a top 50, I found it a bit lacklustre. Hazy golden, creamy white. Nose is nicely fruity, tea, low funk. Taste is too plastic, plant, yoghurt, low tea for me. Body is too plastic & yoghurt likewise.
