The second rendition in our refreshment seeking Lemonade IPA series with Evil Twin. A refreshing drink often associated with childhood nostalgia to others a pop-cultural symbol of emancipation.
Whatever the association we teamed up with good old Swedes, Henok and Karl of the fashionable Omnipollo to squeeze out a tasty, tempting and deceivingly well balanced IPA with sweet and sour notes of old-fashioned memories. Perhaps you can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath - it’s Lemonade.

Can 12fl.oz. @ home. [ As Evil Twin / Omnipollo Pink Lemonade IPA ].Hazy - murky medium yellow orange colour with a large to huge, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, lemon, tart, citric. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a long duration, tart, sweet raspberry, tart raspberry, citric, lemon, dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20171223] 7-3-7-3-15

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pink tinged, dark gold. Slim and sticky, lasting, off white head. On top of some peachy, apricot hops, there’s mostly pink lemonade. Some milky twang. Taste has a twang from the raspberries, and is fruity, citrusy bitter. Easy drinking. Twangy, fruity finish. Nice one.

Can at home. Hazy orangey amber with white head. Sweet malts, baking soda, candy, lemon, grapefruit, passionfruit, lactose. Over medium sweet, light sour, and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not everything works well in this beer. Too much juice too little beer, too much alcohol. Kind of like drinking Passoa liquor to get drunk the very first time. Fruit (lemon & raspberries) are too acidic, kind of ruins the tropical sweetness. Also feels like there’s a shoot of milk in there. 330 ml can. Pours with a hazy, Pours with a hazy, pale golden color and a nice yellowish head. Nose is full of sour fruits like citrus, tangerine, grapefruit-peel with a touch of sugar. Like a lemonade. Taste is criso and follows the nose. Nice bitter-fuity finish with hops and peel.Like that.

Very hazy gold beer, massive pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a mild minerally crispness. Very light malts. Nice lemonade, homemade but not too sharp. Touch of floral lemon. Very light touch of candy raspberry blends in well. Light crisp finish. Very drinkable and good fun.
