The second rendition in our refreshment seeking Lemonade IPA series with Evil Twin. A refreshing drink often associated with childhood nostalgia to others a pop-cultural symbol of emancipation.
Whatever the association we teamed up with good old Swedes, Henok and Karl of the fashionable Omnipollo to squeeze out a tasty, tempting and deceivingly well balanced IPA with sweet and sour notes of old-fashioned memories. Perhaps you can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath - it’s Lemonade.

Can. A hazy golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, pink grapefruit, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of pink grapefruit, hops, and straw, leading to a tart finish.

Can@Jespers - golden pour with white head. Sweet furity and malty with notes of lemon, some berry fruity accents coming in with some raspberries, medium to light body, citrus fruity and hoppy into the finish. Refreshing.

Can, 7%. Hazy golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, lemon, hops, fruit and fruit peel. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, grapefruit, fruit peel, lemon, medium sweet, citric, notes of berries, little sour and a little dry.

Kein Gushing, aber derbe Karbo. Der Schaum hört garnicht mehr auf. Seeeehr fruchtig im Aroma, Himbeeren. Im Trunk sind die Himbeeren ebenso dominant, das gibt dem Bier eine fruchtige Säure - dazu Zitrone, hinten kommt der Hopfen. Sticht durch die Frucht-Sauer-Kombination auf jedenfall aus der Fülle aller IPAs heraus.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured an exceptionally murky orange-tan head that rose over the glass, lingered forever and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet lemon, yeast and a bit of mustiness. The flavor was tart and tangy with notes of lemon candy and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Pleasant.

[Copenhagen 2017] Thanks! 355 ml. can sampled @ Himmeriget. I thought that the Old Fashioned Lemonade IPA was brilliant but this one is a strange mess. Hazy orange, huge white head; Nose is strangely murky badly sweet, strange dough. Taste is a mess of sweet plaster, strangely sweet, dough, cotton candy, donut murky, strange sweetness. Hazy, all over the place & it doesn’t really work.
