Pale yellow color with high carbonation and spicy aroma. Dry, crisp, bitter taste like many European style lagers. Unidentifiable off-putting herbal flavor at the end.

Smell - medium strong, to weak, some hops, nothing special. Foam - quite carbonated, thin, watery, some weak bitterness in background. Taste - some weak bitterness, some weak sweetness, some carbonation. Just a regular lager, for lower price you get same or better.

450 ml swing top bottle into lager glass, best before 12/19/2018. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. A bit too fruity/skunky/yeasty aromas, skunk dissipated through the glass. Okay aromas with pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Some lingering hop astringency after the finish. but not too overwhelming. Nicely clean on lager flavors, not too fruity/yeasty. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is good. A bit too aggressively drying. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a solid Euro pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink; despite the aggressively bitter/resinous/drying finish. Definitely felt too bitter and drying for the style for some reason. Balanced clean pils malts and noble hops. An enjoyable offering.

0.5 can. Közepesen tartós szép fehér hab, tiszta aranysárga szép szín. Friss, komlós illat. Finoman komlózott kerek, nekem kissé németes beütésű sör. Finom. Igazán jól összerakott láger. Rátöltéskor nagyon szép hab fejlődött. Ajánlott, jó sör elérhető áron.

Medium-lasting, nice white head, clean golden yellow, nice color. Fresh, hoppy aroma. A round, lightly hopped beer with a slightly German feel to it. Delicious. A really well-made lager. A very nice head developed when pouring. Recommended, good beer at an affordable price.

26 June 2018. Sample at 't Taphuys, Tilburg. Shared with Anke.
Clear golden with a lasting, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma is quite disgusting: spoiled, wet grain, stale sweat, urinal, cooked cabbage, dishwater. It tastes medium grainy bitter, sugary too, a bit yeasty. Dry, grainy finish, giving it a wry effect with a dry, retronasal hint of kitty litter. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. I might be biased after fifteen-odd decent beers, but if you can't stand that test, then there's something wrong.
