[9/23/16] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day one. Murky amber. Smoky and fruity aroma with yeast, caramel. Tart flavor, smoky, with peaches. Medium-bodied.

Sampled at Borefts 2016, Bodegraven. Dark caramel pour with a tan head. Notes of smoked peaches, dried fruit, malt sugars. From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is smokedand toasted malty. Sour, dry and citric, smoked. Dry, citric and smooth fruity. Lingering fruity. Sourish and dry finish.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 2. Murky orange-brownish color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste sour malts, sourish, winey, orangepeel, sweet-sourish. Hmm not really my thing I guess.

Draft at Borefts 2016, Day 1. Cloudy dark amber with a ring off white head. Aroma of smoke, floral notes, vinegar notes, oak and tart peach. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to moderate sour. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. [23-09-2016]

Thank you for sharing BE RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. Hazy peach, apricot, little white head. Nose is murky soapy, strange fruits, soap, empty messy smoke. Taste like bath soap, herbal, smoked leaves, smoke bath soap, body is the same, fizzy, dry & bit watery. Not a success for me.

Draft @ Borefts 2016. Trouble ambre, pas de col. Arôme offre un bouquet finement fumé avec un rétro marqué de pêche fermentées, rétro malté, pointe de funk comme souvent avec Alvinne. Palais est épais, funk, aigrelet, le fumé est bien là sans être surfait et confère un profil plaisant mais où l’ajout de pêche semble tomber un peu court au niveau des attentes. Alcool perce en retrait, et est, pour moi, trop élevé. Idée bonne sur papier, mais au final l’exécution est pas ce que j’attendais. Dernier en date de ce succè s était une version de chez Terrapin, si mes souvenirs sont bons.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016. Trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Pfirsich, süß rauchig. Geschmack rauchig, süß fruchtig Pfirsich, interessant.
