Winter Red Ale. Biscuit and toffee apple flavours from the malts surprising body for its strength and a Satisfying fruity hop bitterness.

Gravity cask in the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light reddish brown, clear with some off-white head. Gentle fruity and slightly woody scent (redcurrant, forest floor) more reminiscent of autumnal beers... but do i detect a suggestion of mulled spice or is it my imagination? Sweet, malty taste with a touch of red grape juice and a chewy resinous note. Quite a lot of bitter hop in the finish, giving a good balance. Appleskins in the aftertaste. I wish the body was fuller but i can live with that. Overall quite good stuff!

Tried in a Bourne pub. Deep Amber colour with a thin head. Aroma has malt. The taste malt fruit and caramel. Very drinkable.
