On tap at Gastro Pub Tadg’s as #073 Fujin. Pours cloudy dark yellow with medium white head. Hoppy, fruity, pine, grapefruit. Dry finish with lasting bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice.

Low medium brown color that looks like dirt water. Very malt nose with some diactyle. Leafy, hoppy. Light body, but very simple and boring. Pass.

@ Ushi Tora, Shimokitizawa. Has an earthy nose, almost a noble hop flavour, a lot of toasty malts, taking it back to the 90s. Ok. Looks poor, though, very dull light brown and murky, not even in the modern ipa way, either.

Tap at Bungalow, side by side with Raijin. Shiny, hazy gold with a low, fine head. Nice citrus nose, biscuits, lemon,orange, grapefruit. Grapefruit and lemon flavor, dry, clean, but a bit of nice biscuit in the background. Crisp and light with good bitterness.

Tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a hazy glowing yellow with a two-finger head of foam that lasts throughout. Lots of white grapefruit, yeast, grass lemon zest and grass on the nose with some boozy aromas. Taste feels lighter than the ABV, but there is some alcohol on the palate with a sharp lemon juice white grapefruit bitterness. Bitter finish with lots of lemon and pith.
