330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, frothy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and caramel malty, slightly herbal hoppy and minimally spicy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some liquorice, dark caramel, a touch of molasses, brown sugar, coconut. Taste is bitter, herbal hoppy and roasty, dark malty, minimally caramel malty, hints of liquorice, a touch of coconut, ashy overtones.
Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Intense, a tad dirty and disharmonious, not overly complex - meh!

Very dark brown with thin head. Not too much coconut or vanilla fortunately. Solid stout. Background chocolate notes. Quite a bitter aftertaste.

10/6/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP3. From Beerhunter111. Pours black with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate, light coconut, slightly meaty and nutty. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy, average to soft carbonation.

The coconut and vanilla are definitely there but the bitterness of the stout still cuts through. Thanks Graham B.

Smell- medium strong, malt, caramel, faint roast, faint belgian tones. Foam- thin, roast, malt, faint caramel, faint booze. Head is quite large, medium dark brown in color. Sticks. Appearance- generic red bottle cap, cool label though. Black in color. From - trappist glass Price - 3,99 euros for 0,33l Taste - malt, caramel, sweetness, faint roast, faint coffee, faint dark chocolate, faint plums. Booze sips though, but generally not a bad stout. Overall, malty, semi sweet and boozy.
