Canned. Cloudy yellow pour white head. Tart sweet watermelon and light esters. Good for spicy food and refreshing in heat.

12 ounce can into pint glass. MEN10 can code, assumed to be 5/18/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, white grape, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of banana, peppercorn, clove, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of watermelon, fruity/light spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, white grape, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of banana, peppercorn, clove, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy bitterness; peppery yeast spiciness; and fruit/wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, fruit skin, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, white grape, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/peppercorn/clove, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, fruity/light spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; with a great malt/bitter/spicy/tartness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spicy/tart/tangy notes. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is an awesome fruited American pale wheat ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, fruity/light spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/tart/tangy/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of authentic watermelons, American wheat yeast, and clean pale/wheat malts; with solid earthy hop presence/balance. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect. Outstanding summer beer all around.

Can. Pale blond with small white head. Aroma is ketchup bizarrely, bit of watermelon, milky too, ice cream. Tastes is more watermelon, bit grainy, creamy too. Slight bitterness at end. More watermelon. Bit of a strange one, but tastes alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hell or High Watermelon Wheat on 09 Sep 2019 at 15:53 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Medium gold pour even lace around rim. Not much of an aroma. Tastes like pickles, taste of rind and not the melon.

Pours golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of wheat malt. Taste has light watermelon notes with hop elements. Palate has cheap watermelon notes. Eh.
