Dark brown, thin bubbly head. Very thin head. Rich barrel on the nose, sticky dark sugars, a bit boozy. On the palate it's got some rich sugars, again quite a bit of barrel but better integrated on the palate than the nose. Just enough bitterness. Light fruitiness leaning towards the raisin family. Decent stuff.

Over the top wood, medium alcohol heat. The wood overpowers whatever else may be present, may be worth a re rate in the future

Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Dark brown colour with beige head. Aroma of parmigiano, dsrk malt, with a touch obf roastred nuts. Lean mouthfeel, with light residul sugar, nice dark chocolate flavour with a touch of smoke snd vsnilla (from the barrel); the weak body makes it greatly drinkable.
Fun beer.

473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Nose reveals light bourbon character, a touch of vanilla and light cocoa. Flavour is full of vanilla and cocoa as the base, accentuated by fairly prominent bourbon barrels that are well-situated. Surprisingly nice barrel aging, with a sturdy base. Very good.

Deep dark brown with a small beige head. Cocoa, wood and chocolate. So much chocolate almost distracting. Liquid candy, not bad but very odd for the style.
