Our first Barleywine ever! SMaSH type of beer – single malt and single hop, with pale ale malt and Mosaic hops being used. To counter the heavy sweetness, appropriate for the style, we added 100% of NFC cranberry juice, which makes it a bit more sour. Very warming, with a wide range of smells and aromas: starting with sun-dried fruit(plums, apricots) from malts, through cirtus and light tropical fruits from added hops, ending at cranberry itself. 28blg.

Draught, taster. @Barcelona Beer Festival 2022, 16/10/2022 [#5.543 Global - #49 Poland - #1 Browar Rockmill (My Polish brewery #27)] Pours amber with a tan head. Aroma: Red berries, toffee malts. Taste: spiced toffee malts, berries and wood. Sugary. Full bodied. Next one please!

Keg at 4 Hops, Wroclaw, 20/07/22. Deep amber with a decent beige crown. Nose is bitter sweet fruits, dusty red berries, earthy, toffee, dark malts. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, spice, tangy fruits, dried red berries, toffee, sugars, light herb, dates. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow boost. Ok barley wine ... not often I say it ... but could do with being a touch sweeter!

Nie, nie jest tak zle, jak slyszalem. Ale nikuta nie jest dobrze. Smakuje jak mocny lager, troche zbozowy, troszenke landrynkowy, zurawiny bym nie zgadl (skoro wiem, ze jest, to pewnie lekko kwaskowaty posmak od niej). Niefajnie mineralne. Nie pasi mi
