Jet black in colour. Roasted malty flavours with medium bitterness. Some chocolate notes with a dry finish.
Brewing this Irish Stout, we used organic Balder malt, famous in the mid 1900s for it's high quality and great flavour.
Pairs with roasted, bbq foods and rich stews. Excellent with oysters.
Nanna was the goddess married to Balder. Nanna is also the grandmother in Irish families. With this stout, we want you to raise a glass as a tribut to all those great women.

(Bottle, from Bottl3.hop, Stockholm) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins and roasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, hints of blueberries and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Light body, dry. Tasty and well made 3.5% stout. Quite nice.
