Draft glass @ Chez Moeder Lambiek Original. Very dark red fruit amber, big mocha head. Nose is red fruit, old school Barley Wine, honey, cough syrup, overripe fruit, Christmas spice. Very thick syrup & spice body, honey. Taste is old school IPA with honey, overripe fruit, huge spice, figs, bubble-gum, fermenting wild strawberry almost chocolate & hint of anis. Bit much at first but really grew on me, very nice.

On tap at Artisan Ale, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with caramel, dark dried fruits, and brown sugar. Flavour is complex as hell, with dark dried fruits, brown sugar, and caramel. Sweet but not cloying, with a wonderfully deep palate. Excellent.
