Brewed for Flanders Events, for the Internationaal Streekbierenfestival in Zwevegem. Supposedly brewed by brewery De Cock, distributer of the Sinpalsken beers. As Sinpalsken is brewed by Van Steenberge, so are probably these Unicum beers.

15/VIII/2012 33cl @ Internationaal Streekbierenfestival (Zwevegem) - BB: n/a (2012-941) Thanks to Erwin for sharing all the beers together!

Cloudy beige to light brownish beer, small off-white aery head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, apples, sweet, bit sugary, malts, candy, apple juice. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts, very sugary, some ripe fruits, bit of citrus, more sugar. Aftertaste:s ome spices (coriander?), orange peel, sugary, bit of alcohol. I think it needs more sugar. *sigh*
Note: despite the website from Flanders Events states that their mission is to introduce people to new beers from smaller breweries (etc.), they at first refused to tell me where the beer was made. "Oh, just some small brewery, I'm sure you've never heard of it before." It was only after incisting for a long time, that they told me it was from "Dubocq", and then looking at the case, they corrected: "oh no, it's from De Cock". Great job, guys.
