25/V/17 - 33cl bottle from Carrefour Market (Florenville) @ home - BB: 1/VI/17 (2017-635)

Clear purple brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, dried fruits, raisins, caramel, ripe banana, yeasty, soft roast, bit sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish start, soft roast, dried fruits, caramel, not very sweet though. Aftertaste: bit sourish, bitter, roasted, some red berries, bit malty, dry finish.

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow, bought @ the local Delhaize supermarket.

Dark brown with an offwhite head. Spicy nose with strong herbal and citrussy hops. Nice bitterness and full mouthfeel. Considerably stronger hopped than a usual dubbel. Good beer.
