Garcon de Ferme is a foeder-rested, brettanomyces farmhouse ale. After fermentation, this pleasantly tart ale is blended back onto over a pound and a half per gallon of fresh, whole peaches to reflect and echo that the craft of the old has not been wasted on the young.

$4.30 bottle, WW. Pours pale hazy gold, lots of bubbles, small white head. Was hoping for a lovely aroma... I'm sad. Tart stone fruit, hair tonic, wood. Flavor is tart stone fruit, earth, a little funk (needs more Brett), wood, grasses. Was hoping to love this.

Pour looks like orange juice with a small white head. Aroma is peaches with a little burning. Flavor is peaches mixed with apple cider vinegar. A little of the foeder wood is left on the tongue after the swallow. Tart but not pulling the enamel off my teeth tart. This was just o.k. Started off with a odd aroma but finished a bit better with a nice oak. Bottled on 2/4/19

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden and cloudy. Nice head. Nose - apple vinegar, wood polish. Looking for the peach. Taste - more apple vinegar and going into extremely dry peach. Palate - medium bodied and extremely tight and concentrated body. Long finish. Overall - I don't usually imagine I'll ever say this but this is getting towards being almost too dry and tart for me. Good still.

Keg at the Mermaid - Clapton. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Nice and tart, ample apricot and peach, moderate acidity, lemon. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sturdy acidity in the finish, dry and quenching, nips of guava, much more peach and apricot. Very nice.

Very cloudy. Dark orange. Nectarine and cheese curd aroma. Omg. It’s the most sour clementine and vinegar flavor I’ve had. Oak and vinegar. Finish is cheesy.
