Aged for 18 months in Port barrels, our Cahoots Flanders Red is ready to take flight. Brewed with rich caramel malt and fermented with a blend of wild yeast and bacteria, this brew has a complex finish with bright acidic notes of cherries and raspberries.

Bottle at DRBE 9. Pours a cloudy ruby brown with medium off white head. The aroma is oak, leather, grape skin. Slick body, oak, leather, light tartness, dry finish, very good.

The Aromas are tart fruit, malt, caramel and wood. Flavors are a lot like nose, tartness dominates but not overdone yet nothing really stands out. Okay Flanders red.

Clear rusty red beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: acidic, lots of vinegar, fruity, nice and interesting. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish, vinegar notes, quite some alcohol, fruity. Aftertaste: acidic, fruity, red berries, decent.

On Tap murky redish amber thin quickly dissipating white head. No lacing. Light malty sour vinous aroma. Acidic vinegary malt flavors with a fairly clean dry body. Not bad.
