Flesje gedronken tijdens proeverijtje, gedeeld door Keukenman. Roodbruin, troebel bier met matig schuim dat snel wegtrekt. Aroma van toffee. Smaak is hoppig en ook fruitig en kruidig. Nasmaak heeft wat pittigs.

Blik gedeelt door Keukeman, geprobeerd met Inoven en Benzai. Het is een koper kleurig bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een sinaasappel achtige wat hoppige geur. De smaak is vol, sinaasappel marmelade, toffee en caramel.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Una Más, Nieuwegein. Dark amber with an off-white head. Malty sweet caramel aroma with some orange. Sweet taste with a long hopbitter finish. Exceptionally pleasant barleywine, a treat to drink.

27th February 2020 Can. A light haze on this hazy reddish amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and soft palate, slightly viscous, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft rich malts, ripe. Yes, marmalade but light and lacking a good sweet and sharp bite. Some tangy orange peel on the finish, somewhat floral. Nice enough, but some toffee malt depth would have gone a looking way here.

Can. Dark amber pour. Aroma of caramel candy, orange, raisins, malt and grapefruit. Taste has bitter orange candy, caramel, raisin, sugary jam, malt and grapefruit. Nice fruity barley wine, the orange is sweet, but there's enough hop bitter for balance.
