Bottle, 330 ml shared with Max, Miro B and kajser27. Dark brown, beige head. Chocolate, cake, caramel, jam, some dark fruit, sweet, dusty cocoa. Low carbonation. Medium full bodied.

330ml bottle. Black with a tan head. Amazing aroma very cake like, chocolate sponge cake, dried fruits, brandy. Taste seems oddly bitter, while still somewhat cakey, chocolate, fudge, brandy, slightly burnt caramel, raisins and dried fruits, maybe some bourbon too, boozy warming and bitter finish. Medium body, smooth, perhaps a little thinner than it should be. Taste doesn't quite live up to that incredible aroma.

Dit lijkt wel een soort omnipollo noa maar dan met een molen labeltje erom. Vloeibare bitterkoekjespudding. Maar laat dat net een guilty pleasure zijn. Het alcoholische neem ik voor lief dit keer

Bottled 12-11-19. Massively sweet smell, boozy dessert. Taste is fairly bitter, pretty soft too. Brandy, raisins, something that might certainly be cakey, and nearly burnt caramel. Sharp alcohol in the back. Bourbon not present in taste, but smoothens.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of caramel fudge, rich chocolate cake, red fruit, oak, bourbon vanilla, some booze and figs. Taste has rich caramel fudge, bourbon vanilla, raisin, ripe red fruit, chocolate cake, figs, oak, booze and a long rich finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Fantastic beer, great how this is pastry, but manages to avoid the artificialness.

On tap at BrouwcafοΏ½ de Molen, pours black with a large brown head. Aroma is like a chocolate raisin cake - that is intense pastry-ness - low roast, just lots of raisins and cocoa. Flavour thankfully has more roasted body to back, but is also intensely sweet, with lots of raisins and other dark fruits, cocoa, and roast. Then the barrels kick in a bit - the wood cuts down on the sweetness a bit. Cloyingly sweet but it's elegant.
