Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of nice peat, smoke, chocolate, smokey fruit, malt and iodine. Taste has rich laphroaig, peat, smoke, iodine, smokey ripe cherry, raisin, chocolate, malt and burned caramel. The scotch flavor is nice, but the body needs a bit more strength to carry the heavy flavors. Good beer though.

Uiteraard is het dikke turf, maar daar had ik wel zin in. En het past perfect bij de licht droppige base stout. Laphroaig is ook hier weer relatief subtiel, net zoals de BA in de gehele serie. Mooi bier!

Bottle. Almost black. Iodine and peated smoke dominating the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with peat, iodine, caramel. Very low on carbon. Alcohol. Nice.
