330ml bottle. Clear, almost black colour with ruby glimmer and huge, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Roasty dark malty and citrusy, fruity, zesty, slightly grassy and minimally piney, floral, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, fresh hay, green onion, some orange peel, lime peel, coffee overtones, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and bitter, citrusy, zesty fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, some coffee, orange-flavoured dark chocolate, some lemon, lime, a minimally waxy touch. Slightly overcarbonated, courageous, largely outbidden bitterness, minimally un-integrated - good try on a BIPA from a German brewer though.

Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, toasted - roasted - dark malt, sweet malt,, dark malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, wood, licorice - licorice wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted - toasted, fruity hops, sweet malt, dark malt, wood - licorice, licorice root, soft licorice, hop bitter, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200417]

Quite floral for a bock, fruity with pine and resin. Not too caramelly deep, herbal. Nice bittered with floral parts over a malty body. Round and refreshing, floral bitter. Nice one.

0,33 l bottle from Craft Beer Store, Hamburg. Unclear dark red brown with a more than one fine frothy beige head in the glass. Intensive hopy smell with licorice and resin. Tastes the same, overpowered the licorice in my opinion. Can´t figure out the malt. Sorry ...

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, bitter resinous hops, coffee. Taste of bitter resinous hops, pine, dark roasted malt, coffee. Nice!
