Inspired by our brewers' love of the assertive, bright flavors of Thai ingredients, this intensely flavored brew incorporates the vibrant quality of several Thai-inspired ingredients into our classic imperial stout. Powerful notes of citrus, botanicals, and tropical fruit balance the stout's rich chocolate, caramel, and coffee character. The result is an amazingly flavorful and complex beer that pays tribute to the flavors of Thailand.

Black with quick fading head. Aroma is a bit soapy with all the lemongrass, ginger and lime. Flavour is similar but there's an interesting but ultimately pointless fight going on when the thick , oily richness and dark bitter coffee-like malts kick in.

On tap at Dark Arts. What a change this one. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium light brown head. A big bursting nose of spicy and roasted notes. Huge dark roasted base, chocolate, ginger, clear lemongrass, comes in very authentic to what it is. And it works well. Not sure I'd want a 750 of this, but it is great.

On tap at the brewery. A bit hazy black with a small tan head. Aroma of fairly mild spices like lemongrass, ginger and lime. Also dark chocolate and some coffee. The same in the taste. A nice one.

Bottle shared in London - th ask to Mitchy for sourcing. Pours oily black-brown with a dense, creamy khaki head. Nice aroma, certainly lemongrass, rich chocolate, roast, graoefruit, pepper. Medium to big sweet flavour with sugary chocolate character, mild bitterness, more lemongrass, lemon peel. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Light warmth in the finish, more gooey chocolate, lemon peel, brown bread. Great fun overall.

Bottle shared at Leightons place 18/01/2018. Many thanks! A black dark brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is sharp lime, coconut, brown sugars, spicy, sandlewood, lemongrass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown sugars, Thai spices , coconut, milky chocolate, lemongrass, sun tan lotion.. Palate is oily, moderate carbonation, rounded,. Bit weird but I like it.

Bottle at LKS. Thanks to Ken for the pick - up. It pours jet black with a small white tan head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, Thai green curry, limey, coconut, warming spice, earthy roast and lemongrass. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, roasted malt, umami, charred wood, earthy, cocoa, liquorice, leather, umami, fragrant, coconut, lime and dark fruits with a dry, warming spiced finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Interesting, but not nearly as good as the regular. Fun to try anyhow.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Soft airy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, little dark chocolate. Soft chocolate. Good coconut and mild spicy bitter lemon grass. Trace of lime peel. Lighy soft spicy finish. Works well. Fluffy, unusually flavoured and very drinkable.
