Cask@Nolia Beer 2017, Umeå. Hazy amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is alcohol, some floral, mild raisins and plummy tones with mild lemongrass too. Flavour is just sweet raisins, plum, tropical fruits, toffee, alcohol and some tropical fruity tones. Kind of ok, but also a bit here and there, too fresh?

27/II/20 - 33cl can @ a pretty big tasting for a workday, BB: 30/X/21 (2020-176) Thanks to Nisse666 for sharing the can!
Clear deep amber to red brown beer, big creamy irregular bit aery off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of milk chocolate, malty, bit fishy, slightly roasted, oatmeal, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit malty, little bitter, gains, some milk chocolate, bit sourish, quite some alcohol, soft hop bitterness, caramel. Aftertaste: bit sweet, spicy, oxidized, bitter touch, some caramel, alcohol, bitter, soft roast. Not very good but it did pair well with a slice of home made carrot cake. ;-)

Canned, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose with some dates and hay. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel, low carbonation. Rich on deep bready malt with dates and spicy hay. Warming mid bitter finish. Pleasant English style Barley Wine with lots of depth.

This one was unfortunately not any good Like a BW from the 80`s or something Quite flat carbonation level. Some unpleasant alcohol notes in the aroma A beer like this do normally have many dimensions This did not… Simple in a way. Boozy, toffee and some dried fruits [Can from Systembolaget in Sweden] Brewery #2183 Swedish Brewery #199
