(Bottle) Dark golden colour with big, frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with bread, orange, toffee, hay and butterscotch. Malty taste with notes of bread, orange peel, hay and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well made märzen. Quite nice.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear bronze colour, small head. Bready spicy nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Rich on bready, creamy malt, notes of dough. Mild spicy bitterness. Harmonious. One of the best efforts Ive tried from this brewery.

Flaska från SB. Mörkt gyllenfärgad klar vätska med lågt krämigt skutsvitt skum. Maltig doft med nybakat bröd, smör och lite höiga kryddor. Stor kropp, fina smaker, lätt sötma och en liten maltsyrlighet, trevlig lätt kryddig smakbild. Gott.

Clear golden color with a fine head. Ok lacing. Looks ok. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Quite fresh and ok bitterness in this one. Malty, herbal and mild bready flavor.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, lacing white head. Clean, malty nose, somewhat flowery. Medium body, clean, straight and malty with a solid late bitterness. A very different beer from the almost brown old "1810 Oktoberfest" version. But Göteborgs Nya are very good at Lagers. 260918
