Buffalo Meadows is the ideal companion on a cold night. This dark lager was cool-fermented in stainless steel with Alberta blossom honey and bee pollen, before spending 11 months aging in fresh Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels.
The results are undeniably delicious. The 2023 edition of Buffalo Meadows was awarded Best in Class at the Alberta Beverage Awards, and a silver medal at the Alberta Beer Awards.

375ml at Phill's place shared with Matt. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: dark malts, some creamy notes from bourbon barrel. Taste: dark malts, fruity notes, low to moderate sweetness, some barrel character. Overall: quite interesting.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly subtle on the bourbon barrels, light roast, and a touch of dark fruits. Flavour is full of oranges, soft bourbon, a touch of smoke, and some dark fruits. Oranges, roasted malt, and gentle bourbon on the finish.

Deep dark brown. Butterscotch and woody notes. Bourbon and some dark fruit and boozy notes. Ok.
