Beers of the World country 160: Palau 🇵🇼
"The beer is light yellow in colour with a heavy foam top. It tastes malty and bitter before a short burst of sweetness towards the end. Last weeks beer was a bit of a positive surprise while this one is back with a lot of the other lagers which taste similar. But as with some of the others probably a lot better when tasted in its home country." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Can, thanks Grumbo. Almost clear and very pale yellow, larger white foamy head, slowly settling down. Sweet flowery and fruity nose, a bit of grass. Medium bitterness, slight soury cellar feeling to it. Mild aftertaste. Light body. Not bad, though nothing special.

13/5/2023. Draft at the Palau Royal Resort, Malakal Island, Palau. RateBeer country #220 and possibly my last new country at tasted at source (maybe?)? Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is light, hoppy, touch of citrus, guava and grass. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light bodied, average carbonation. Nicer than drinking big brand light beers for sure.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Stas. Yellow rusty water color. Sulphur, soap, minerals, grains, slightly sweetish, bitter finish, a bit metallic, quite watery.

Pale straw with a wispy white head. Light malt, faint sweet toast. Very faint flavor profile overall. Crisp and rough carbonated mouth. Cuts through the summer heat in Palau.
