The very first American Ale, New Albion has a deep gold appearance. Its subtle malt character complements the pleasant citrus-floral notes from the Cascade hops. You’ll find a spicy, fruity, light pine character; clean, with moderate bitterness. This medium-bodied beer is the ale that started it all. Enjoy the clean finish with a slight sweetness that leaves with a lingering orange-citrus note.

Platform menu:

Re-brewed in partnership with Jack McAuliffe and New Albion, the country’s first craft brewer and brewery, this refreshing pale ale’s crisp cascade hop character is a craft beer time capsule. Start off with America’s first craft beer.

Lightly hazy copper with a white head. Lightly hopped with a cover of malt. Pine, caramel, lightly fruity throughout. Medium bodied. Finish has a nice spicy bitterness. A fairly simple, tasty beer.

On draught at Ohio Taproom during the "Kindred Ales Mini Tap Takeover" event on 05/18/2016. Clear dark orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Hops, malt and fruit in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
