Can @ home. Black body under a fine, creamy tan head. Aroma has dark, smooth roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Taste is sweet, roasted dark malt, chocolate, coffee and bal-anced bitterness. Fine body with long lasting, pleasant aftertaste. Rather straight forward, still rich in taste, smooth and nice. Highly enjoyable.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Coal black in the glass, solid lacing from a creamy off-white head. Inviting dark malty aromas, slightly peaty. Dark chocolate malty flavours added by oatmeal and caramel, distant notes of sulfur. Rounded roasted finish, slightly peaty. Pretty decent. (Bodø Panorama, 12.11.2023).

330 ml can, as Black Isle Hibernator Organic Unfiltered Oatmeal Stout, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts and coffee, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, and has the same elements as the aroma, also noticeable bittering hops.

Draft, half pint. @Black Isle Bar, Inverness (Scotland). 03/08/2023 [#6.656 Global - #195 Scotland - #7 Black Isle] Pours black with a lacing tan head. Good retention. Aroma: roasted coffe beans, oatmeal and mild vanilla. Taste: chocolate cake, roasted malts, brown sugar and coffee beans. Medium bodied and dry finish. Roasty mouthfeel. Next one please!
