On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber with small off white head. The aroma is pine, resin, dark fruit. Medium body, dark fruit caramel, resin finish, good.

Can labeled Lou-Red. Deep, ugly brownish red with a tan head. Bold malty profile with citrus hops underneath. Some pine and caramel. Reminds me of this style circa 2005. Malt bomb. Sweet finish.

From a bottle. Cloudy redish amber with a light tan head. Big aggressive hoppy woody tannin like bitter aromas and flavors. Smooths out and gets better as it warms up bit

"Extra dry-hopped" sample from cask at the 14th annual Smokehouse Mini Real Ale Fest on 05/13/2017. The beer is a cloudy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, piney hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a stone fruit and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
