Florals, prune, raisins and plenty of booze. Dark brown pour without much head. Sweet and boozy finish. Decent balance here. Tap at brewery.

Dark. Dark sugars, booze, candied fruit, dark but not toasted malts. Medium bodied. Boozy, dark sugar finish. Not bad.

Draft at the source. Color is dark brown/mahogany with a beige head. Aroma of malt, yeast, plums and other dark fruits. Taste is plum, raisin, dark fruits, spice, light yeast and alcohol. Finish is fairly sweet. It’s a decent attempt at a quad, but a lot better stuff out there.

On tap at the Rocket City Brewfest. Pours dark brown. The nose is figs and dates, molasses, and notes of whiskey. The flavor is very sweet, and a little spicy. The palate is heavy and sticky, clinging to your throat. Overall, an interesting beer.
