A truly well balanced brown ale. Nice toasted notes with faint cocoa, a hint of roast, light earthy hops. Medium thin body. Simple but very well made.

Sampled on tap at Chuckanut Brewpub, pours a clear dark amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts and some dry dark fruits. VERY dry body and bland. Decent.

Draught at the brewpub
Brown color, limpid, with mahogany hue. Mild aroma of roasted malts. Also the flavor portrays roasted malts, with traces of dark chocolate and dust; dryish final with moderate bitterness.
One more delicate balanced and elegant beer from Chuckanut.

Amber, with small beige head. Neutral nose. Light sweet malt profile, undistinguishable from the Red
