In 19th century Germany, pilsners were all the rage so München brewers created a malty hoppy beer of their own called Helles. pFriem Helles Lager builds on that history with a toasty lager that’s savory and smooth with aromas of fresh bread and a hint of honey. So let’s toast this beer’s storied and delicious history with a hearty, “Helles Yeah!”.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours gold with a good creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is bready with hops that don't seem Saaz. Med body. Flavor is bready in a good way - hop add a little bitterness. They do seem a bit grassy. Good flavor this.

Pour is a clear golden with a huge white head. Aroma is a decent clean malt with a little mineral. Flavor is again a nice clean bread malt with a fresh clean noble hop. Reminds me of being back in Munich. Infinitely chuggable
