On tap at Poor House, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out burnt roasted malt, black licorice, and some cocoa. Flavour is deeply roasted, with black licorice and cocoa. A bit brutal and harshly roasted, but it's still within acceptable territory.

On tap at the brewery. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, some light caramel, coffee and hints of dark fruit. The body was full and the finish quite long. A tasty one.

Classic powdered chocolate an coffee tasting stout. Medium bodied. Brown. A bit dry in the finish. Solid.
