750 ml bottle from Mikkeller webshop.
Black, oily body, with a small, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of strong cardamon, cinnamon, coffee, dark fruits.
Lovely, dense taste of cardamon, coffee, melting dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, wood, dark fruits, molasses, some tobacco, subtle liquorice.
Full, very oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty, moderate sweet, spicy, wooden, a bit warming, with cardamon, coffee, bourbon, dark fruits, subtle booze.
Very tasty! Lots of dominant cardamon, while also pretty diverse in the taste. Well integrated bourbon barrel, providing some sweet booze from the background, while the alcohol is well hidden. If you love cardamon and also like your Imperial Stouts a bit sweeter, this is for you.

Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Poured dark brown with a transient tan head. Aroma is strongly cardamom with coffee. Full bodied. Flavor is cardamom, dark treacle, darkish fruit and coffee. The herb gives it a rather unique flavor. Interesting flavor. Nice one time for sure.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is dark fruit, fig, roast, cocoa, wood. Thick, chewy roast, milk chocolate, smoke, boozy finish, very good.
