This beer is a clear orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, fruit and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, fruit and mild grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

looks like any other good beer, slightly darker than yellah. nice head, then quarter inch from a bottle. good bite fades but bitterness hangs for a while round the front of yer tongue. Seems to have more alky than 4.8, heheh. sounds like the description was written by a rater. some slag in thar. decent background sizzle. simple clean aroma. unique.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden-amber color with a large creamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was caramel and vegetal malts - bock like in character. The flavor was sweetish, tangy, malty and somewhat vegetal with touches of wood and dark fruits. Turns bitter and dry towards the long malty finish. Medium body. Eh.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/27/12
Aroma: The nose has some caramel, fruit, slightly stale yeast, and a little tea
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a small off-white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is pretty much exactly what the nose would lead you to expect, it is light-medium sweet
Palate: The body is light, the mouthfeel is nothing special, and a finish is pretty short
Overall Impression: Ironically 25 people had rated this one before me, not at all that interesting to most people, but what can I say, it is an interesting factoid to me. As for the beer, there wasn't a lot to this one. Very unexciting and not particularly good.

Malty with slightly citrus and floral hops. Medium bodied. A good amber ale that would be great in their normal lineup. I wonder what the thought process behind this was, though. For an anniversary beer you'd think they'd go a bit harder.
