Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some toffee and mild wooden notes. Flavour is liquorice, rather boozy with some liquorice, toffee and a bit ripe fruity elements.

Dark brown. Aroma is dark melasses and cocoa with red wine and raisins with dried cranberry. Very complex. Taste is sweet melasses and cocoa at first then some bitter hops with light boozy wood and balsamico red wine. Finish of more cocoa and wood, less sweetness. Misses some supersoothing smoothness. Apart from that super nice!

#CoolAtHome. Deep Brownish color and a nice tan head. Nice acidic nose, vinegar, vineous, tart. Taste is redwinish, creamy, balsamico, vanilla, port. Very nice.

ABV: 9.8%. Light cloudy dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, dark fruit, barrel, dried fruit, raisin, plum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, barrel, port, dark malt, dark fruit, raisin, plum, vinous, dried fruit, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish is warming. [20210531]

Dunkler, trocken malziger Beginn. Leicht schokoladig, gleichzeitig vinös, holzige Aromen sind vorhanden, bleiben aber im Hintergrund. Ansteigend malzig, moderat herb, trocken bleibend, was aber nicht stört. Erstaunlich spritzig, dennoch angenehm stark malzig, der Alkohol ist kein Thema. Langer Abgang mit viel Malz, moderater Bitterkeit, Espresso- und Holznoten. Gut! 10/12/12/13/13/13

330ml bottle. Almost opaque, darkest brown colour with ruby shimmer and average, thick, steady, frothy to creamy, well lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, minimally toasty, caramel malty and vinous fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of dark caramel, hints of cherry, plum, plum butter, blue grape juice, Port. Taste is dry, minimally tannic, oaky, tart-ish, vinous fruity, slightly toasty malty, notes of blue grapes, pomace, Port, whiffs of alcohol. Light body, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, soft carbonation. Surprisingly light and watery, relatively easy drinkable, sadly the rich fruity nose isn't reproduced in taste - OK.
