Heutzutage ist ja nicht immer alles wie es scheint. Und dann doch wieder sehr vertraut. Genau wie dieses Bier, das sehr vertraut schmeckt und doch nicht aussieht wie es sollte. Und wie das wirkliche Leben hat es auch noch einen zusätzlichen Twist.

Ein wahres Stout mit vollen Kaffee-und Kakaoaromen. Dazu eine leichte Zitrusnote vom Sichuan Pfeffer. Das alles mit einem cremigen Mundgefühl. Und wenn man die Augen schließt, ist das Bier auch schwarz.

Malz: Pale, Wiener, Weizen, Hafe

Hopfen und Gewürze: East Kent Goldings, Perle, Kakaonibs, Kaffeebohnen, Sichuan-Pfeffer

Clear, bright golden color and a small white head. Roasty nose, coffee. Taste us roasted malts, dark coffee and spicy-herbal twist.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is freshly grated coffee, pale malts, a bit thin. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not for me.

Tap. Coffee nose, herbs. cloudy golden, low white head.mediun body, earthy coffee, hop bitterness, light dry fruitiness. Not one. For the long run.

Sampled @ Craft Bier Messe Mainz 2019. A slightly hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of coffee beans, vanilla, white chocolate. Taste of vanilla, dry coffee beans, chocolate.

On tap @ Mainz 2019. White golden in the glass. Great dry roasted coffee, dry malt, caramel, roasted coffee. Great depth.
