473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, foamy, short lived, light brown head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice, caramel and coffee. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, lactose, licorice, vanilla, cocoa and coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not as creamy as I had hoped, but still tasty.

On tap. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of sweetened chocolate, watery vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, a bit of chicory, sugar and roasted malts. Easy drinking

Roast and some light lactose. Black pour with good head. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

On nitro tap at Omen, pours black with a medium brown head. Nose is subdued, with some metallic notes and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is more endearing, with light lactose and a hint of cocoa. Creamy body, but with little depth. Pleasant.
