Keg at Craft Beer Junction, 18/08/23. Pitch black with a dirty tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, nutty, mellow bourbon barrel, spice, macadamia nuts, dark malts. Taste comprises dark chocolate, light spice, bourbon kiss, figs, booze, nutty bite, brown sugar melt, vanilla essence. Full bodied, oily cloying feel, semi drying close spliced with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy ... just a touch overly sweet for my liking but not enough to detract from the enjoyment.

(Keg at Haze Wave 2022 Friday session) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had sweetness, crushed nuts and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, alcohols, crushed nuts,, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, boozy and bitter. A decent burnt brew with notes of adjuncts.
