Appearance: Red-brown colour with a brown head.
Aroma: Acidic, fruit, vinous, cherries.
Body: Full body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Sour, cherries, fruit, vinous.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Almost clear ruby, small head. Tart oaky vinous nose. Dry with light-medium and rounded mouthfeel. Black currant, citric lots of oaky wine. Tanninic lightly bitter finish.

Mörkt brunröd (nästan svart) färg. Medelstort skum. Syrlig doft med inslag av röda vinbär, portvin, vinteräpplen och russin. Len munkänsla. Syrlig och vinös smak av rödvin, röda vinbär, ekfat och syrliga äpplen.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a nice mix of sweet red fruits, wood and sharp grape tartness.

Flaska från SB. Doft med mycket fat och rött vin, plommon, körsbär och söt vinäger. Laktosyrlig men också gräddig smak, sötsyrliga körsbär och plommon, strama tanniner, lite kärnbeska och djupa komplexa smaker. Ett rödöl med extra allt. Riktigt gott.

Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Clear, dark red brown with small light beige head. Woody aroma, vinous berries and licorice (?) Sour flavour, woody with berries and alc warmth. Lasting sour dryness.

Quite good, dense, audible cream head over deep chestnut to brown beer. Extremely attractive vinous nose, with mild lactic acid and red fruit aromas. Very vinous-grapey, and many hints at aged, fortified wine. Pretty sour, but in the nicest possible way. Fruitesters, madeirisation, wood; hints at fruitganache for chocolates; passion fruit, red fruit. This pretty dense beer is seriously lightened by the lactic acid and the spritzy carbonation. Which makes it precariously drinkable at its respectable 9.5% ABV. Probably the best Liefmans in 4 decades. Wow! 9/4/9/5/18

Bottle with Danske Ølentusiaster. Dark chestnut with a lasting off-white head. Strong oak aroma with dried fruit, cherry, vanilla and caramel. Dry and quite tart fruity and oaky flavour with great vineous complexity.
