Raw sour brow ale fermented with Kveik. This beer drinks like a complex sour cold brewed coffee. The fermentation creates a fresh fruitiness that compliments the dark roasty flavours from the malts.

Bottle, at Håndverksølfestivalen. A still and headless one, with a lightly reddish brown body. The aroma has roasted malts in the back, with dirt, damp forest, wet fallen leaves and an unexpected touch of cucumber. It's dry, lightly tart and full to medium bodied, with a light acidity. The flavor leads my thoughts to the smell of fresh tarmac, along with damp forest, roasted malts and some cucumber. Medium length finish. A rather weird one, not for me to drink. 190806

(On tap @ Barrels, Burgers and Beer, Stockholm, April 14/19) Pours clear mahogany with a small tan head. Notes of tart dark fruit/berries, caramel malt, moderate wine vinegar, earthy roast, spent coffee, burnt toast and wood, moderate plus sour through to a dry finish that amps up the tannins, earthy roast and nutty stout quality. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. A pretty competent sour stout, not super-drinkable but not harsh either.
