Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Rich complex maltiness, yet maintaining careful balance. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, roasted coffee notes. Also dark fruits. Full bodied with some warmth towards the finish. Finish also reveals dryness and subtle grassy hoppiness. Very good.

Draght at the brewpub.
Black body, with a big, dense, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, coffee, cocoa, some caramel, some spices.
Tastes of coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, toast, some caramel, some liquorice, dark fruits, some alcohol, subtle hops.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, roasty, wooden, alcohol warming, with coffee, liquorice, bitter chocolate, some toast, subtle hops.

Very nice. The nose is quite fruity, while the taste is straight roasty-dry. Well balanced, with just enough alcohol presence. Overall not so outstanding for this style, while still enjoyable.

0,1l from tap at the brewpub. Black colour, small coffee-colored head. Smells of spices, peppery, bit milky. bit weird and unclean smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, spices, peppery, some coffee and bitter chocolate, some vanilla. Finishes lightly roasted & a bit dry with notes of licorice and bitter chocolate. hmm, didn’t like the smell so much, but taste is very nice, very smooth. rather light imp stout, but greatly drinkable.
