Imperial Stout w/ Ginger & Coconut
Our newest series celebrates the deliciousness of a bold, chewy stout that’s more than a little bit extra. Black Liquids are rich and chocolatey, with a toasty malt backbone and a generous dose of dessert-esque adjuncts. It’s essentially the beer version of saying “yes” to whipped cream on that hot chocolate.
Volume 5: The latest volume combines complimentary notes of spicy ginger and rich coconut upon that familiar chewy chocolate foundation. Together these elements create a deeply satisfying, ginger snap-esque beer that veers firmly into dessert territory.

Very dark brown, without much head. Has a bit of ginger, and some coconut. On the palate, lots of ginger, deep brown sugar, touch of coconut, some kind of like kaya toast with coffee and gula melaka. Lots of ginger in this, too. Damn.

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée fuyante. Arôme de malt torréfié, gingembre, noix de coco. Goût de malt torréfié, gingembre et son côté piquant, amertume moyenne-élevée, chocolat noir, légère acidité, âcre, sucré. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen-dense.

(bottle) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, bitter chocolate; thick palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish
