750ml @ Ryan's shared with Phill.
Aroma: weird mix of fermented in barrel apples and solvent.
Taste: along the same lines, very carbonated, bone dry. Finishes with some fermented vegetables.
Overall: not my thing.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2012 vintage). Clear blonde gold with dissipating white head. Fairly dry apple, touch of the bourbon barrels, effervescence, some wet paint on the nose. The barrel character gives some vanilla notes with feint paint, but the sweetness doesn't necessarily lend itself to the dryness of the apples and the wet paint throws things off a bit. Fairly carbonated in the mouth. Average or above average. A bit odd.

Cask days 2014.
Tart apples, toffee, wood, sweet canilla bourbon. The bouebon woodniess and the tart apples are quite the combo. Not sure this works....the bourbon isnt as sweet as i expected, but it still doesnt meld well with the tart apples. Its well made, but i dont get it,

750mL bottle, pours a clear blonde, no head. Aroma is full of bourbon, vanilla, baked apple, and stewed apple. Flavour is very dry, with light bourbon, oak, some vanilla, tannic notes, and crisp apple skins. There really isn't much residual sweetness at all—though that'd usually be a good thing for me, I desire a little sweetness from a barrel aged cider. Good stuff overall.

(750ml bottle shared by Herbalist, thanks!) Pours clear medium gold with a tiny fading white head. Notes of sweet and lightly caramelized apple with a light fresh tart edge remaining, soft vanilla, wood, bourbon, touches of alcohol warmth and oxidation, maybe grape? Balance is light to moderate sweet, softly acidic, quite round, and off-dry on the finish. Hides the 9% ABV well. Medium bodied, slick, very lightly carbonated. Interesting, the barrel notes needed a bit of air to pop out more but when they did it turned into a much better-balanced and complex drink. Nice alternative to wine barrels for ageing.

Bouteille 750ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur jaune paille translucide, mousse blanche fugace.

A lightly hazed golden cider with aroma of sweet apple jam, light vanilla extract, alcohol warmth, light butterscotch, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity apple juice with light oaked notes, vanilla, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, very nice. Cask Days 2016.
