Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Foam Brewers.
Appearance: copper color with a slim cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated practically immediately and barely left any lace
Aroma: funky to lemony to grapefruity tart with some oak and light peachy tones; subtle Bretty/sour notes
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fair sour to tart quality with a light funky to sweet vibe underneath; finishes semi-sour with an ample tart but even keeled sort of sweet tone with the peaches
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also slight aggression from the tart/sour tones - still - mostly low on that aggression
Overall: a very nicely done sour/wild ale from Foam I would return to.

Draught at the brewery, 5/26/17.
Little/no head atop this brassy, canteloupe-golden-colored beer with a solid haziness.
Yum, sulfur! Lots of funk and poignant acetic notes punctuate an oaky, sour, lemony, very gueuze-redolent nose. It’s certainly rich and sumptuous, if you can say that about a sour ale, though I don’t find it too oaky nor too acetic-forward; obviously that will not be true for everyone. No alcohol of flaw. Quite an impressive amount of aroma there for only 5.5%.
Soft, malty texture showcases a funky, tart/lightly sour character that is highlighted by lemon, moderate oak and big fruity acetic and Brett combinations producing something of a red and yellow fruit character that is highly flavorful. Oak tannin further comforts and helps mitigate the acidity and only the slightly loose carbonation detracts. Biscuity wheat plays well with the fruity Brett and plentiful lactic acidity with sulfur in the mix for the full-on lambic-like experience. Honey-like malt, oak and tart Brett/lacto lingering.
