On tap at Le Saint Bock, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of rich caramel, a touch of peat and light maple. Flavour is rich and impeccably balanced, with lots of caramel, some maple, and peat. Man, that's really impeccably balanced. Certainly malt-forward but nowhere close to cloying. That slight pest character really elevates this. Wonderful beer.

A cognac amber ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light treacle, alcohol warmth, herbaceous hops, nice. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light peated notes, grassy hops, nice and pleasant, like a scotch. On tap at brewery.
