Hazy yellow pour, big rocky head. Vegetal aroma, light yeasty notes, and some wheat. Thicker than expected mouth feel and body. Decent cereal flavor, the wheat really comes through in a slight lemony finish. Meh, lawnmower beer.

Big fucken can @ home, courtesy of BlackIPA. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Spritzy lemon, banana, bubblegum, grainy, vanilla aroma. Watery, a bit sweet vanilla, bubblegum, grainy, hay flavor. A bit twangy and not as good as Blue Moon but not horrible.

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur paille claire, mousse blanche disparaissant rapidement. Arôme de céréales, blé léger. Goût de céréales, blé infime, maïs? Carbonation moyenne, corps moyen-faible.

I guess there’s some wheat in here but I’ve had so much experience drinking molson - more than any other beer - that I have a keen sense of taste for the polish they use to clean the inside of their tanks, and this beer doesn’t disappoint. Really not much different from a Molson Dry or Canadian. Bottle.

Pours a cloudy golden colour with a creamy white cap that last quite a long time. A very long time and the lacing is thick all-around. The aromas are a different thing though. Not as nice. Smells like the typical Molson Canadian adjuncts. The taste is pretty weak, as the alcohol content has gone down compared to the regular one. A little wheat with some light citrus notes in the finish. They seemed to have made this one milder to not offend the regular Molson Canadian drinkers, but to make most feel a little better because of the unfiltered higher-end-looking brew. We’ll see how well this does this summer.

Canette 473ml.
